Study for a Grotesque 11

A reference to the decorative Grotteschi at Osterley House and a comment on the upstairs downstairs dualities which sustained such houses. The work also parallels the disparity between our genteel 'civilized' qualities and the more primitive and untamed side of the human psyche.
